'Working with Children Check' Requirements

PennoFC takes it responsibilities when working with children very seriously.

The Club requires all Managers, Coaches and those Adults working closely with players under 18 years of age, to complete a 'Working with Children' check. A 'Working with Children' check is now required even if you have a child in the team your engaged with.

'PennoFC must hold records of this check prior to the commencement of 2018 Season training.

The NSW Office of the Children's Guardian suggests most 'Working with Children' checks are completed within 'a few days' of providing proof of your identity at a ServiceNSW Location. However, applications have also been known to take up to 4 weeks in the past.

I NEED TO APPLY FOR A NEW 'WORKING WITH CHILDREN' CHECK

To complete a new 'Working with Children' Application online here.

This online process will also require you to visit a ServiceNSW Location to verify your identity.

In need, watch this helpful video tutorial showing you how to apply for the 'Working with Children' check.

When prompted, the purpose of the check is 'Volunteer'. The 'Child-related Sector' to select is 'Clubs or other bodies providing services to Children'.

Once completed, please email your Age Manager with your 'Date of Birth' AND your 'Working with Children' number prior to the commencement of training for Season 2018.
I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A 'WORKING WITH CHILDREN' CHECK

Your existing 'Working with Children' check will expire after 5 years, at which time, if required, you will need to re-apply. The NSW Office of the Children's Guardian will email your nominated email address 3 months before the expiry date.

If your contact information has changed since you completed your last 'Working with Children' check, you can apply to change your information here.

If you can't locate your 'Working with Children' (WWC) number, you can apply to retrieve it here.

PennoFC must maintain records of volunteers and those working closely with our teams which include boys and girls aged under 18.

If you apply for a new 'Working with Children' check, once completed, please email your Age Manager with your Date of Birth and your 'Working with Children' number prior to the commencement of training for Season 2018.

If you have already provided your 'Working with Children' number to PennoFC, the Club will reach out to you direct if there is any missing information required to complete our records.
